- Workheet for use in acquiring AutoStandards password. The General Services Administration's (GSA) Automotive Acquisition Support Center invites firms interested in submitting offers under the Government's upcoming 2016 model year solicitation for GSA Fleet Vehicles for Use in Europe to participate in the Federal Vehicles Standards process beginning December 21, 2015. Vehicle types being sought by the Government for this program include, but are not limited to: - Sedans and Passenger Station Wagons - Cargo and Passenger Vans - Sport Utility Vehicles (crossovers and full-size) - Pickup trucks - Heavy Trucks All GSA vehicle purchases are governed by program specific Federal Vehicle Standards or Purchase Descriptions, which are developed by GSA Vehicle Engineering Branch personnel prior to solicitation publication. The Federal Vehicles Standards process engages interested parties to provide technical data via GSA’s AutoStandards web application for vehicles to be potentially offered to the Government in response to these forthcoming solicitations, and to assist in development of the Federal Vehicle Standards or Purchase Descriptions for the current model year and specific program. Participation in the Federal Vehicles Standards process is highly encouraged for all firms seeking to participate under GSA Fleet solicitations. Interested parties should send email correspondence to automotiveedi.partnerships@gsa.gov for required passwords to the AutoStandards point of entry.
