Description

This is an amendment to the original presolicitation notice that was provided in accordance with FAR 5.204. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) has a requirement for custom surgical procedure trays at the Richmond VA Medical Center (Richmond VAMC). Below, is a description of the requirement and other relevant information. Items amended from the original notice include the contract type and CLIN structure. Description: A variety of specific custom surgical procedure trays are required for surgical procedures at the Richmond VAMC. The requirement is for pack assembly/manufacture, sterilization, quality assurance, packaging, contractor electronic communication ordering and reporting, and delivery. Deliveries will be made either to the Government Medical Surgical Prime Vendor (MSPV) or directly to the Richmond VAMC. See the attached draft statement of work and custom tray pack contents for details regarding specifications and materials. Deliveries are typically made for a month or two months' worth of supplies, but are subject to variation. The contract will consist of a base period and four (4) option year periods. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The anticipated CLIN structure is as follows. Quantities are estimates of annual requirements. The CLIN structure and any other solicitation requirements and documents are subject to change before solicitation release.
