- This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Request for Quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210 with a size standard of $15 million or less. This requirement will be solicited as a commercial item acquisition prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. This project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to remove and dispose of Southern Power Cable Type shielded MV105-1332 insulation level 25ZTS, (UL) AWG 1 EPR 15KV 220 MILS sun resistance 4/17/2000. All cable is encased in four inches of underground PVC conduit, provide and install six splices on existing cables, and install Herculine Type 2500 in each conduit where the MV cable was removed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The worksite is located at the Mead Substation, 2051 South Buch anan Boulevard, Boulder City, NV 89005. Only new equipment of current manufacture shall be supplied under this contract.
