- 16T0021_sol N00164-16-T-0021 - SOLE SOURCE -TEST, TEARDOWN, AND EVALUATION AND INITIAL REPAIR CHAMPION AEROSPACE TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER - FSC 5961 - NAICS 334413 Issue Date 15 DEC 2015 - Closing Date 28 DEC 2015 - Time 4:30 P.M. EST Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), supply contract IAW FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-16-T-0015 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. Size Standard for NAICS Code 334413 is 500. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Champion Aerospace 1230 Old Norris Road Liberty, SC 29657, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The OEM owns all proprietary data for this equipment. All responsible offeror's may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. CLIN 0001 Teardown, Test, & Evaluation and Initial Repair Transformer Rectifier CLIN 0002 Option #1 Teardown, Test, & Evaluation and Initial Repair Transformer Rectifier Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with delivery F.O.B. Destination: Crane IN 47522-5001. The anticipated award date is 04 JAN 2016. Quoter's, prior to submitting a quote, carefully review ALL sections and fill in all blanks. To be eligible for award of a Government contract, Contractors must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). CCR and ORCA have been recently incorporated into the Governments new point of registration, System for Awards Management (SAM). This site can be accessed at https://www.sam.gov. Re-registration may be necessary. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offeror's that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Quotes must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation.
