- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Hydraulics International, Inc.(HII), Chatsworth, CA., for a quantity of twenty-three (23) Cabin Pressure Leakage Testers with spares, P/N: 111302-100 in support of the US Navy's F/A-18 program and five (5) Cabin Pressure Leakage Testers with spares, P/N: 111302-100 in support of the Royal Australian Air Force. The NRE and logistics of the existing F-18 from HII are already in place. Delivery shall be 18 weeks after the receipt of the order. The Government does not have the data rights for this effort. NAWCADLKE intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C ) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
