Description

This solicitation will contain one NSN for a VALVE, LINEAR DIRECTIONAL CONTROL; Z9N(WSDC)/Aircraft, F/A-18,A-D,E/F, G (Growler). A letter Request for Proposal (RFP) will be solicited for award of a firm fixed price contract. The original equipment manufacturer and only approved source is Northrup Grumman, CAGE 3H889; PN: 2830037-105. The NSN and quantity are as follows: NSN: 4810-01-256-2244, quantity 235 each with no Option for Increased Quantity - Separately Priced Line Item. The delivery schedule is 575 days ARO. FOB: Origin; Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. This is a proprietary item to Parker Hannifin coded 3D. The Government intends to place firm-fixed price, against BOA SPM4A112G0003. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). This is a critical application item; however, is not a commercial item. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), other than full and open competition applies. Conditions for evaluation and acceptance of offers for part numbered items cited in the AID: This agency has no data available for evaluating the acceptability of alternate products offered. In addition, to the data required in subparagraph (c) (2) of clause (52.217-9002), the offeror must furnish drawings and other data covering the design, materials, etc., of the exact product cited in the AID, sufficient to establish that the offeror's product is equal to the product cited in the AID. The anticipated letter solicitation issue date will be December 28, 2015 and anticipated close date will be January 27, 2016. The solicitation will not be available via the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) website. You may request a copy by contacting the Acquisition Specialist.
