Description

THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL TUSCALOOSA VA MEDICAL CENTER This is a request for information used to identify potential sources that are interested in and capable of providing the landfill described in the Scope of Work below. 1.SERVICES: Dump fee for disposal of garbage/trash (landfill only) from the Tuscaloosa VAMC. Disposal of infectious waste is excluded. 2.AMOUNT: Estimated tonnage per year is 550. 3.LOCATION: Dump site MUST be located within a 20 miles radius of the Tuscaloosa VAMC. 4.DEFINITIONS: A.Miscellaneous Trash- Combustible and noncombustible materials such as paper, wrappings, cloths, cartons, metal, glass, floor sweepings, plastic, grass cutting, tree trimmings, street sweepings, waste products of fuels, wastepaper, lumber, plastics, etc. B.Garbage: Coffee grounds, tea leaves, banana peels, citrus rings, onion bulls, and similar general kitchen scraps, etc. PHONE CALLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests.
