- Description
- The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (PZIOAC), Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Boston Scientific Corp, 300 Boston Scientific Way, Marlborough, MA 01752, for a Spinal Cord Stimulator. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which a permit other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 339113. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Anticipated award date is 7 Jan 2016. The requirement will consist of: CLIN 0001: Spinal Cord Stimulator Description of Supplies to be delivered on CLIN 0001: SC-1132 Precision Spectra Implantable Pulse Generator, quantity 1 SC-4254 Long Tunneling Tool (35 mm), quantity 1 SC-5532-1 Spectra RC Programmer Kit, quantity 1 SC-6412-3 Charging Kit 2.0, quantity 1 SC-4108 ft 2X8 O.R cable and Ext (Spectra), quantity 2 SC-2218-50 or 70, quantity 1 FB-101-01 Fixate, quantity 1 SC-4316 Clik Anchor, quantity 1 THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 4:00 pm CST on 16 December 2015 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide these services.
