- Specifications Option 5 Specifications Option 4 Specifications Option 3 Specifications Option 2 Specifications Option 1 Specifications Initial and Main SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals; the 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, NE, is seeking information for market research purposes only for the following listed below: This is a Sources Sought announcement. The 55 Contracting Squadron intends to contract a project that shall include but is not limited to all labor, equipment, materials, utility services, and proper disposal of all materials as required to renovate an existing facility which has a first floor square footage of 32,500 and second floor square footage of 17,100. Project site is located in a fenced secure area of the runway and will require security badges for all contractors. A guarded gate will monitor the access of supplies and workers. Project is 100 percent designed. Project involves replacing all mechanical, electrical, renovating sleeping rooms, incorporating an elevator into the existing floor space, refurbishing a commercial kitchen and remodeling office spaces. The desired period of performance from the contract award to close out is 540 days. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required in accordance with FAR 52.228-15. Applicable wage determinations will apply for this project. Please reference specifications(attached) for any questions related to the project. The designated NAICS Code is 236220 and a Size Standard of $36.5 million. All interested parties should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to perform the work as described above. Responses are requested with the following information, which shall not exceed a total of fifteen (15) pages: •· Offerors name, address, point of contact, phone number and email address •· Business size/classification, to include any designations as Small Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, or 8(a) and NAICS code designations •· Relevant past performance on work of replacing and updating all major equipment in the approximate 2000SF Mechanical/Electrical room for this size of facility. Past performance on framing all walls and finishing interiors similar to hotel sleeping rooms. Past performance on renovating an approximate 2000 SF commercial kitchen. Describing no more than three (3) projects each within the past five (5) years •· Teaming Arrangements, if applicable, to include relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last five (5) years. •· The initial work will require replacing all Major Mechanical components within the Mechanical room and some duct work in areas and coordinating that with occupied areas which will not be renovated. Request Offeror to provide an example of past projects which may have a similar scenario. •· Initial work will also require the Electrical Distribution systems to be updated also in areas which may be occupied. Request Offeror able to provide examples of projects which successfully shut down the electrical and met short delays in restoring power. •· Because some areas of the building may be occupied during construction it is critical that the Offeror demonstrate an ability to provide progress schedules which illustrate a coordination between the construction work and accessing occupied areas. •· Offeror to provide examples of Value Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Concrete and phasing the sequence of construction. •· Actual testimonials from past projects will also be accepted. Documentation of technical expertise and capability must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. It is imperative that business concerns responding to this sources sought articulate their capabilities clearly and adequately.
