- This is a synopsis prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. This is a Notice of Intent. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number for this acquisition is NIH-OD3995946 and is being issued under the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated award date is December 15, 2015. This acquisition will be processed under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541519 with a dollar standard size of $27.M. The National Institutes of Health, Office of the Director, Office of Logistics and Acquisitions Operations, on the behalf of the NIH Hazardous Waste Management Facility intends to procure on a sole source basis from Contemporary Technologies an annual software maintenance agreement to maintain and update Enviroware components. Contemporary Technologies maintenance agreement includes meeting applicable codes and software developer specifications. Contemporary Technologies is the only vendor able to provide this maintenance agreement for Enviroware products due to it being customizing this specifically for NIIH. Their custom efforts of the agreement allows for software to maintain compatability for the constant changing NIH ITB security related requirements including security patches, Oracle patches, Java updates, and other related security enhancements and upgrades.The maintenance will allow NIH to be compliant with state and Federal regulations. The maintenance includes: Service Performance, Annual Maintenance Service for customized NIH Specific Software, New Customization/ Enhancement Support Services, Work Schedule, Locations, Qualifications, Security and Safely, Qualifications, Security, Quality Control, Security and Safety, and Invoice Submission. FAR Pt. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items,. Electronic submission ONLY will be accepted. All information furnished must contain sufficient detail to allow the government to determine if it can meet the above specifications described herein.
