- Draft Requirements Document This email is Request for Information (RFI) HSCG23-16-I-ELECDESIGN. This RFI is part of a market research effort by the United States Coast Guard (USCG), Office of Contract Operations, Formal Contract Division II, on behalf of the USCG Maritime Safety Center. This RFI is for market research ONLY! This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute an official solicitation. No contract will be awarded on the basis of responses received to this notice. No compensation for any responses to this RFI shall be paid by the Government and by responding to this RFI your company accepts all financial costs for its response. Please see the attached draft requirements document. The USCG is seeking RFI responses that analyzes your company's capability to perform the work in the attached requirements document. This document is only a draft and does not represent a final product. When responding to the RFI, please include the following information: A) A cover page with your point of contact, your DUNS number, your business size, your socioeconomic category, and whether or not your business has any current contract vehicles with which to obtain these services (GSA Schedules, DHS Strategic Sourcing Vehicles, OASIS, etc); B) Your capabilities statement that demonstrates your company's ability to perform the work and your experience with commercial vessel electrical design; C) Your company's ability to obtain and retain personnel with enough experience to accomplish the work; and, D) Any suggestions your company feels would improve, clarify, or strengthen the requirements document. If your company wishes to respond to this RFI please do so by sending an email with the information requested above no later than 12/14/2015 at 3:00PM Eastern Time.
