- SYNOPSIS: FY16 MAINTENANCE DREDGING SAVANNAH AND BRUNSWICK INNER HARBORS W912HN-16-B-0001 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District intends to issue a solicitation for the Maintenance Dredging, Inner Harbor Channels Brunswick and Savannah Harbors, Georgia. Procurement of these services will result in a firm fixed price contract. The contract will be solicited and procured using Sealed Bidding Procedures. This procurement will also be issued as Unrestricted. Approved plant includes only hydraulic pipeline dredges. The maximum plant size acceptable for this work is a 24 inch dredge. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $ 10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. This project consists of dredging approximately 1 to 5 million cubic yards of maintenance material from the Inner Channels of the Savannah and Brunswick Harbors. The dredge(s) must have the capability to dredge fine sands and silts to a depth of -52 MLLW and the dredged material shall be placed in the confined upland disposal areas. A Quality Control System (QCS) will be required. The required dredging window will be one year from issuance of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 22 December 2015. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional medi (CD-ROM, floppy disc, faxes, etc.) will be provided. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, and size standard is $27,500,000.00. This project may include options. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. After completing SAM, in order to download IFB documents contractors and their subcontractors must register at www.fbo.gov. It is the Offerors responsibility to check the Internet address provided as necessary for any posted changes to the solicitation and all amendments.
