- Solicitation W913E5-16-T-0003 The solicitation number for this request for quotations (RFQ) is W913E5-16-T-0003. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333517, which has a size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) in Hanover, NH has a requirement for: 1 EA - Manual pellet press: Applied pressure of at least 2,000 lbs; must have an ejector to remove the pellet from the die 1 EA - Pellet die (25mm length, 5mm diameter) for KBr IR analysis NOTE: This is a brand name or equal requirement in accordance with FAR Provision 52.211-6. The offeror must propose a manual pellet press which meets the above requirement and demonstrates equivalent capability to Carver, Inc. Model 4350.L. The offeror must propose pellet die which meets the above requirement and demonstrates equivalent capability to Carver, Inc. Model 4369. Further instructions can be found in Section L of the attached RFQ. If "equal" product(s) will be proposed IAW FAR Provision 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal, provide a clear and descriptive "crosswalk" between the items specified in Section C and the "equal" product(s) being proposed for approval. In accordance with FAR provision 52.212-1(e), multiple offers are encouraged and will be evaluated separately. Please reference the attached RFQ for the full scope of work, as well as all applicable provisions and clauses. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote represents the lowest price technically acceptable offer. To be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must offer a product meeting the above salient characteristics.
