All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16, is conducting market research to identify potential sources able to provide local courier services service for multiple VA facilities in the locations stated below. In order to assess current market conditions, formulate an accurate cost estimate, and develop an effective Performance Work Statement, the Government is requesting industry feedback with respect to the areas listed below. Any information submitted by and obtained from industry as a result of this notice may be used in development of the final Performance Work Statement, cost estimates or terms and conditions of the actual solicitation. The anticipated NAICS code is 492110 -Courier and Express Delivery Services. Although the Government anticipates a set-aside requirement, a final determination will not be made until market research is complete. Submit responses to the Contracting Officer by December 8, 2015 at Fredrick.Wilson@va.gov. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. 1.What is your socio-economic classification? (Large business, SB, VOSB, SDVOSB, etc.) 2.Pricing Data: a.Between the main facility and each field office in the Shreveport Bossier local area b.Between the main facility and each CBOC 3.The following locations will require service: a.Overton Brooks VAMC, 510 E. Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA - This included service to all satellite facilities within the Shreveport Bossier area.
