Please submit any comments or suggested revisions to the USAF Airworthiness Mailbox (usaf.airworthiness.office@us.af.mil) NLT 15 Dec 2015. _____________________________________________________________________ Non-DoD Military Aircraft (NDMA) USAF Airworthiness Industry Day Notice DATE: Wednesday, 18 November 2015 TIME: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Local LOCATION: Air Force Institute of Technology, Kenney Hall, Bldg. 642, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio USAF POC: Robert FitzHarris, AFLCMC/EZSA, robert.fitzharris@us.af.mil The Assistant Secretary of Air Force (Acquisition), in conjunction with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, is pleased to announce an Industry Day to discuss the Air Force's NDMA Airworthiness (AW) Accreditation Process. This Industry Day is a follow up to Airworthiness RFI for Non-DoD Military Aircraft, Solicitation # FA8604-15-R-7986, dated 15 May 2015. This industry day is intended to increase industry understanding and to gauge industry interest in establishing a process for entering into the military AW assessment process for NDMA aircraft. The Government will present a briefing on the current thinking/process on how to accomplish AW assessments of NDMA air systems. Briefings will be at the UNCLASSIFIED level and companies are limited to no more than 3 attendees for this event. In addition, the Government is providing opportunities for interested companies to meet with USAF NDMA Office representatives during One-on-One Sessions for industry presentations and discussions. These sessions are to take place after the industry day brief. The One-on-One sessions will not exceed twenty-five minutes and should be focused on NDMA AW accreditation. The One-on-One Sessions are an opportunity for your team to discuss the number and types of air system designs that may be submitted for assessment. The Government will be gathering information to gain industry's perspective on AW assessment processes for NDMA air systems. Requests for a One-on-One session must be included in the pre-registration email. Attendance at this Industry Day will be limited due to space constraints (~100 total persons). Attendees must pre-register for this event. Only pre-registered individuals will be permitted entry to the NDMA Industry Day. A more detailed agenda, directions, base access instructions, and read-ahead material will be made available only to those who have pre-registered. You MUST pre-register via email to attend this event no later than 3:00 PM EDST Wednesday 4 November 2015. To pre-register, email the information requested below to: USAF.Airworthiness.Office@us.af.mil Incomplete requests to attend Industry Day will not be processed. Please use "NDMA Industry Attendance Request" as the subject line of your e-mail requesting attendance. In addition, provide the following information. • Company Name • CAGE code • DUNS# • Short description of the products or services your company produces • Company Point of Contact(POC)telephone office/cell) and e-mail address • Name and Nationality of each Industry Day attendee (for base access purposes) • One-on-One session request (if applicable)
