General Information Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: VA260-16-Q-0075 Classification Code: U - Quality Control, Testing, and Inspection Set Aside: Small Business NAICS Code - 713940- Fitness and Recreational Sports Centers-Swimming Pools Contracting Office Address NETWORK CONTRACTING OFFICE 20, 960 Broadway Avenue, Ste. 460, Boise, ID 83706, UNITED STATES Description The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 20, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for a Eugene, OR, indoor, saltwater pool facility that can provide all necessary labor and materials for Veteran-only structured aerobic and rehabilitative swim class. The instructed sessions shall provide participants the ability to work at their own pace and their own ability level - modifying activities as needed for a more or less intensive exercise experience. This contract will reserve the pool facilities and an instructor for one-hour, once-a-week, Veteran-Only swim for 12 months; from December 2015 - December 2020 for the Roseburg, OR VA Medical Center. The Contractor is responsible all necessary travel, supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and services. The solicitation will result in a single award contract. The contract will be for a basic period of one (1) year with four (4) option years. The North American Industry System code is 713940 and the small business size standard is $7.5M. This is a commercial acquisition; therefore, award will be made in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This acquisition is a competitive small business set-aside. Other information for vendors is listed below: 1)Registration requires a D-U-N-S Number from Duns and Bradstreet and may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Vendors must have a valid D-U-N-S Number. Request a D-U-N-S Number from Duns and Bradstreet on the web at http://www.dnb.com/get-a-duns-number.html 2)Register in the System for Award Management (SAM) and complete the Online Representations and Certifications Application in SAM as stated in the solicitation. Vendors can access SAM at https://www.sam.gov. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 11, 2015 via the Fed Biz Opps website at https://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments will be posted on FBO as well. Paper copies of the solicitation and amendments will not be mailed and no telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted.
