- Description
- SOURCES SOUGHT Intend to award sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. The Naval Air Systems Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA and it's customers intend to procure, on an other than full and open competition basis, additional level of effort hours with Raytheon Missile Systems for Advanced Technology Insertion and Integration Support. This acquisition will provide design and development studies to develop and apply new technology to ensure battlespace dominance utilizing a baseline of systems developed and produced by Raytheon Missile Systems such as the AIM-9 Sidewinder, AIM-120 AMRAAM, AGM-65 Maverick, AGM-154 JSOW,R/Ugm-109 Tomahawk, XM982 Excalibur, BGM-71 TOW, RIM-66 Standard Missile, Rim-162 Evolved SeaSparrow, as well asLine of sight/Non-Line of Sight (LOS/N-LOS) technologies for seekers, tri-mode seekers, and similar applications. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to danielle.mccarthy@navy.mil or mailed to Commander, Code 254130D (Danielle McCarthy), NAVAIRWARCENWPNSDIV, 429 E. Bowen Rd. Mail Stop 4015, China Lake, CA 93555-6108 on 11/18/2015. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm believing it can fulfill the requirement identified above may submit a written response which shall be considered by the agency. The written response shall reference solicitation number N68936-13-R-0050-0001 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.
