- J&A Solicitation is for 6 NSNs under PR 1000038224 for LIGHT, LANDING, AIRCR; GLOBE, ELECTRIC LIGH; CABLE ASSEMBLY AND; HOUSING, LIGHT ASSY; LIGHT, NAVIGATIONAL, & LAMP ASSEMBLY, SPECI. The following information applies to the NSNs: This solicitation is to establish a Long Term contract with a base and four one year option periods. This is an unrestricted procurement which requires FOB: Origin with Inspection/Acceptance: Destination/Origin. There is one approved source of supply for all Items with the exception of NIIN 013978060: SODERBERG MFG.CO.INC., CAGE 78366 is the approved source. For NIIN 013978060, the item is source controlled with S ODERBERG MFG.CO.INC., CAGE 78366 and Sikorsky, CAGE 78286 as the sources of supply. Delivery will be as listed above for the production units. Surge requirements are applicable to the identified items. Specifications relating to the procurement cannot be furnished by the government. The award decision will be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors on a line-by-line basics. Surplus dealers and small business dealers and distributors having existing stocks of surplus or newly manufactured material are invited to respond. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211.9000, Government Surplus Material, or adequate traceability documentation to show product is acceptable. In addition, respondents should identify quantity available and price. DLA will consider all such responses and may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the government. A copy of the solicitation will be available on DIBBS. The solicitation issue date is on or about 3 August 2015.
