- Sierra Army Depot located in Herlong, California has a requirement for 11,600 each composite material blocks or equivalent to include 3 option clins of 725 each. Delivery to begin approximately 30 days after award, on or around 28 January 2016. This procurement is being solicited as a 100% small business set-a-side. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 326199. The related small business size standard is 750 employees. Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Parts 12 & 13.5, Full & Open Competition. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is November 24, 2015. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing and may be emailed or faxed to 530-827-4722, Attn: Lissa Kaarbo and will be posted to FBO. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation. Specifications: Composite Material Block equivalent with dimensions of 7 inch x 9 inch x 9 foot for the intended use of elevating 20ft and 40ft ISO containers from the ground. Minimum load rate capacity requirements needed is 26,500lbs per each, roughly 2-3 blocks or equivalent per container. Shipping by Railcar is authorized.
