- The US Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, Soldier Weapons Contracting Center (ACC-NJ-SW) on behalf of the Project Manager Crew Served Weapons (PM-SW) has a requirement for Boresight Kits, NSN 1005015717212, to be used for proper alignment of system optics for weapons installed on the M153 Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS). The requirement is to manufacture boresight kit components, and package the components with two Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) components into a complete Boresight Alignment Kit for the M153 CROWS. The Boresight Kits will be manufactured in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements that will include a Statement of Work (SOW) and Technical Data Package or drawings for each kit component. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, supplies, services, facilities, and equipment to perform the requirements of the SOW and RFP. Satisfactory completion of First Article testing will be required prior to production. The Government intends to compete the requirement among Small Business Offerors, and issue one Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed priced delivery orders. The anticipated contract will be for five years with priced quantity ranges. The minimum ordering obligation (minimum guarantee) is expected to be 380 kits plus the cost for First Article Test. The maximum quantity of kits to be procured is 8,000 and the expected delivery rate is 130 kits per month. The kits will be delivered to: Bldg 3305 Pat 4 Rd, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806. The anticipated award date for this action is second quarter of fiscal year 2016. This acquisition will be 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332994 and the Size Standard is 1,000 employees. Please note that this notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which will be considered by the Government following the release of an official solicitation. This notice is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation, nor will the Government be liable for any costs involved for submission of information in response to this notice. The solicitation will be released to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website and is anticipated to occur on or about 23 December 2015 with proposals due within 30 days of when the solicitation is released (see solicitation for actual due date).
