- Description
- Inu Teq, LLC has a requirement for an Omega Decommutation System. Six (6) each 2315-1050-01 - DX Decommutator, six (6) each Bulkhead Panel, six (6) each Chassis to bulkhead cabling, six (6) each Chassis slides, six (6) each Mounting Hardware, six (6) each 10 ft. AC power cord, twenty six (26) each 2315-2071-01 - ION Bus adapter, and six (6) each 2315-1181-10 - TCTU Cable. Inu Teq, LLC intends to purchase the items from Computer Systems Research & Analysis, 2315 Meredith Lane, Santa Maria, California 93455. CSRA is the only manufacturer and source of hardware compatible with the telemetry decommutation software (mission Control System (MCS)) developed by the Air Force and provided to NASA> The MCS software provides unique capabilities such as the support for the ION bus interface. Additionally, the Air Force has provided NASA with the source code for the MCS software. No manufacturer of commercial telemetry software, or other source of software provided source code. This provides an unprecedented ability to adapt the telemetry processing to meet future requirements. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on December 9, 2015. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
