- This is a pre-solicitation notice. NO SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME; therefore do NOT request a copy of the solicitation. Travis Air Force Base (AFB) - Aircraft Parking Ramp Project The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price contract for the replacement of an aircraft parking ramp at Travis AFB, California. The Contractor shall furnish everything necessary, including but not limited to all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform this project. This work includes but is not limited to: - Demolish and replace existing Ramp 400 concrete and asphalt pavements, including adjoining taxiway concrete pavement surface and asphalt shoulders, demolition of PCC pavement and construction of HMA transition pavement between construction project phases, and demolition of HMA transition pavement for PCC pavement, demolition and replacement of existing drainage utilities, and all other work necessary to make the project complete and usable. In accordance with the DFAR 236.204, the magnitude disclosure of this construction project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This proposed contract action will be conducted using FSC Code: Y1lB and North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS): 237310 Highway, Street and Bridge Construction and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. Any and all questions shall be directed to the contract specialist, Gregory Treible, in writing via email at Greg.L.Treible@usace.army.mil. The Request for Proposals is estimated to be issued in December 2015 or January 2016. A small business set-aside if determined to be appropriate and/or necessary will be identified upon RFP issuance. The RFP will be issued on the Government Point of Entry known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). The site visit/pre-proposal conference date, time and location will be identified in the solicitation. BE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELLED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS.
