- Performance Work Statement Sole Source The Naval Hospital Bremerton Contracting Office hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract to Analogic Corporation. Address: 8 Centennial Drive, Peabody MA 01960-7902. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition is attached. The period of performance shall be a base year 12/1/2015 - 11/30/2016, with four additional 12 month option years. The contract will provide an annual PRO Service Plan for the Flex Focus 400 system (S/N: 5000196 ECN: 025762), the Endorectal Biplane Transducer (S/N: 3011897), the Linear Array Transducer (S/N: 3001625) and the Digital Sony UP-D897 printer (S/N: 237641) located at Naval Hospital Bremerton, One Boone Road, Bremerton WA 98312-1898. NAICS code: 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, (Size Standard $20.5M) The services required meet Naval Hospital Bremerton's legal obligation to continue the fully operational condition of the Biomedical Engineering Section. Naval Hospital Bremerton believes that awarding the proposed contract to another source would result in creating a non-functioning state of the unit and also null and void the warranty. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than November 24, 2015, 1:00 PM PDT. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Naval Hospital Bremerton will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. Interested parties are encouraged to furnish information by email only with "RESPONSE TO INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Analogic Ultrasound, in the subject line. All documents submitted will not be returned.
