Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-16-G-4302 for VIRGINIA and SEAWOLF Class shipbuilder specific coded stock parts and material in support of emergent submarine work. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to place Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-16-G-4302 with Electric Boat Corporation, A General Dynamics Company, located at 75 Eastern Point Road, Groton, CT 06340-4989, and to issue orders from 01 October 2016 through 30 September 2021. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other types of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed BOA is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.303. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Electric Boat Corporation directly. This announcement is restricted to nuclear-qualified shipyards. Offerors interested in obtaining information about this announcement should submit requests in writing to Danielle C.
