Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs; Office of Acquisition Operations; Strategic Acquisition Center - Frederick (SAC-F) intends to award a Sole Source-Firm Fixed Price purchase order to Meggitt Training Systems Inc., 296 Brogdon Road, Suwanee, GA 30024. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 332994 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The required supply upgrades the existing target retrieval system (TRS), using the existing range infrastructure, to the XWT GEN3 system including supporting accessories. This action includes installation of the new TRS and the removal and destruction the existing TRS. The range is located in Little Rock, Arkansas at the VA Law Enforcement Training Center. The proposed effort will be procured in accordance with simplified acquisition procedures for a commercial item. The proposed effort will be solicited by the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 13.501(a), entitled "Sole Source Acquisitions". Any responsible sources may submit a written response to this notice which shall be considered by the agency.
