Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 intends to enter into a contract on the basis of full and open competition for the procurement of transportation logistics and storage services to store backup media of all VA Office of Information and Technology's Microsoft Exchange Outlook e-mail systems at the Hines, Illinois location off-site to preserve integrity of data and to prevent damage from fire, water or accidental erasure. There is also a continuing requirement (referred to as the Litigation Hold process) to store all backup tapes for litigation purposes. VA has a continued need for additional offsite physical storage space and transportation services for storing weekly backup media and media subjected to litigation and the requirements of VA's Litigation Hold process. The period of performance is 12 months from date of award, with four 12-month option periods, and one optional task. The primary North American Industry Classification System is 541614 with a size standard of $15 million. ***** The final solicitation VA118-16-R-0703 is hereby formally issued via Amendment A00001. Please note this final solicitation replaces the draft solicitation previously posted on November 2, 2015.
