Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 6 intends to negotiate sole source procurement with Fidelis Sustainability Distribution LLC a FibroScan 502 Touch System. The required items are listed below. A sources sought notice was posted for this requirement under solicitation number VA246-16-Q-0024 on Nov. 04, 2016. 1.FibroScan 502 Touch with 19" monitor and windows 7 OS w/M+ & XL + Probes. 2.Sandill Fibroscan Comprehensive Service. Agreement Comprehensive Service Agreement. 3.Printer, Canon ImageClass LBP7660 to be used with the Fibroscan 502. 4.Sandhill Controlled Attenuation Parameter This procurement is in support of Fayetteville VAMC and the Wilmington CBOC. The VA intends to procure this requirement on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses are due by Nov 16, 2015 at 4:00 PM, to Dwayne.tillery@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses received from the notice mentioned above and additional market research. This notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
