Description: Bioplex 2200 Reagents or equal items IAW FAR Subpart 15.201(e) - The Government is issuing this Request for Information. The Government does not presently intent to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Please review Statement of Work below and provide required information. The government intends to review all proposed items as well as Brand Name or Equal items. SAVAHCS STATEMENT OF WORK Supplies being ordered: The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service requires quality control material to verify assay performance and reagents, supplies, consumables to perform patient testing on the Bio-Rad BioPlex 2200. Transaction Number: 678-16-1-053-0100 Description of the supplies being requested: The vendor must provide the facility with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved reagents, controls, calibration materials, disposables, and any consumable parts necessary for analyzer operation. The reagents, consumables and supplies must be the same as those that have been validated on the BioPlex 2200. All reagents must comply with current test methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures and Policies in the Chemistry department. The quality control material must be compatible with the Unity Real Time software. The vendor must supply Unity Real Time QC Data Management as part of an all-inclusive package with the control products. The vendor must have a peer group that evaluates and sends monthly evaluations with the following reports: Laboratory Performance Overview, Laboratory Comparison Report, and Laboratory Histogram. In addition, the vendor must send no charge samples of quality control material to ensure data collection and evaluation of new lots before switching lot numbers and/or quality control material. The vendor must be able to directly sequester lot numbers of quality control. The vendor must take orders and directly distribute all requested products to ensure there is not a delay in patient testing. The vendor must send updated reserve reports of sequestered quality control monthly.
