Description
Q&A section posted. Amendment 3 posted. Amendment 2 posted. Amendment 1 posted. (please see attached) Q: This contract is to supply (labor, equip, mat'ls) concrete (SCC) up to 100 yds and a pump truck for up to 6 hrs only and not for any placement itself? A: Correct Q: Who is responsible for testing (temp, air, spread, cylinders, etc) the concrete? A: The COE will obtain a local testing firm Q: Submittals required - Are there others with COE will want such as APP, QCP, etc.? A: We'll need the mix design and/or the project data along with the Certificate of Compliance (standard commercial practice ?). Q: It is understood that we would be responsible for any leftover concrete and related cleaning out of the trucks onsite, but Per the specs #7 "Site Restoration & Cleanup" and so that we can account for any costs related to this section, where on the LK9 site will the concrete trucks and pump trucks be located? Will we be responsible for landscaping type, curb, etc work or will the COE already have established routes for their work that they will be repairing at the end? A: No landscaping type, curb, etc. In reference to the waste concrete, it needs to be disposed of either in an on-site dumpster or taken back to the plant to be recycled. Q: Will there be deliveries required on Sat and/or Sun (mid Jan to mid Mar) as there are premiums required for those days? A: No deliveries on Saturday or Sunday Q: How many mobs/demobs will be required for the pump truck to account for the 6 hrs? One during the ~60 yds sill conc placement A: Only 1 mob / demob Q: We can include a PM/CQCM to be onsite during any concrete deliveries to ensure the coordination, product, etc are in order. A: No need for a PM/CQCM to be onsite Q: Will the COE require an SSHO from us onsite during placement days? A: No Q: Will the COE require bid or payment bonds? A: No
