- Statement of Work - Machining Services Section 1.0 - Background Machining services are required to machine rotating cantilever beam specimens from Alloy 625. Section 2.0 - Scope of Work The services requested are: •· Machine up to one hundred seventy five (175) rotating cantilever beam (RCB) specimens •· Machine RCB specimens according to drawing provided by NSWCCD •· Deliver machined specimens to NSWCCD Section 3.0 - Performance and Delivery The machining services shall be delivered within 90 days of receipt of material. The vendor shall provide written confirmation of receipt of material to start the 90 day performance window. NSWCCD will deliver the material to the vendor via freight shipping service. The finished product and remaining unused material will be packaged by the vendor and shipped to NSWCCD. All shipping and handling fees will be charged to NSWCCD (shipping must be part of the quote as the government does not accept COD deliveries). Inspection and acceptance of specimens will be performed by NSWCCD Code 612. Upon completion of machining, all specimens and unused government furnished material(s) shall be returned to NSWCCD at the following address packaged in the same condition as received.: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division 9500 MacArthur Blvd West Bethesda, MD 20817-5700 ATTN: J. Gaies, Code 612 Section 4.0 - Government Furnished Information Specimen drawing - Rotating Cantilever Section 5.0 - Government Furnished Equipment NSWCCD will deliver all material within 14 days of contract award. Material is in the form of four (4) as-forged Alloy 625 cylinders (MIL-S-23284A, Class 1), with the following dimensions: •· Diameter: 21.25-in OD, 11.375 ID •· Length: 24-in •· Weight: ~1800lbs each
