- This notification is a follow-on to Sources Sought Notice W15QKN-15-X-8688 published in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) on 30 April 2015. On 16 December 2015, the Product Manager Guided Precision Munitions & Mortar Systems and the Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) will host an Industry Day at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ to provide technical information on the 120mm High Explosive Guided Mortar (HEGM) acquisition. The HEGM program is planned to commence approximately during June-August 2017. The 16 December 2015 Industry Day will cover information relating to HEGM's technical requirements. The event will start at 8:30a.m. and will end at 5:00p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Participants may arrive to register starting at 8:00a.m (EST). Each Business/Organization in attendance will also have the opportunity to meet with subject matter experts in a planned one-on-one session. Each one-on-one session will last up to one hour. Businesses/Organizations interested in attending the one-on-one session must contact the Army Contracting Command point of contact listed below by 16 November 2015 with their intentions. Those who have expressed desire to be included in the one-on-one with the HEGM panel will be provided respective time and location of the one-on-one during the morning registration. Should there be considerable interest in the one-on-one sessions, the panel may be available for a second day, 17 December 2015 (location and times to be determined). At this time, the Industry Day will be held at the Lindner Conference Center at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. Should you require directions to Picatinny Arsenal and the Lindner Conference Center, please include it in your request. Businesses/Organizations interested in sending representatives to the Industry Day and participation in the one-on-one sessions shall notify Jennifer Hughes via electronic mail only at jennifer.m.hughes56.civ@mail.mil by 5 PM EST, 16 November 2015 or as soon as possible with the following information: Firm Name, Name(s) of Individual(s) attending, Telephone Numbers and Addresses. Foreign companies may request attendance, but their acceptance to attend this meeting cannot be guaranteed. It should also be noted that attendance by foreign companies is contingent upon the submission and receipt of approval(s) of the required documents below. Foreign companies are to submit the required documentation and visit approvals no later than November 16, 2015. Additional details may be posted prior to the 16 December 2015 Industry Day. These details, when available, will be located under the Document Packages tab of this FBO Industry Day announcement. To obtain access to these further details, Businesses/Organizations will be required to submit the following forms: Military Critical Technical Data Agreement (DD Form 2345), Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), and an AMSTA-AR 1350, which are available upon request to the contact listed above (e-mail only). Once completed and returned, it will then be determined by the Government as to whether or not access has been granted to each Business/Organization. Attendees to this meeting who wish to enter Picatinny Arsenal and do not have a Department of Defense identification card must go to the Visitor Control Center located at the Picatinny Main Gate. In order to be issued a personal entry pass, you MUST have some form of valid photo ID,(i.e. Driver's License, Passport, etc.). This policy includes all vehicle passengers. In order to be allowed to drive onto Picatinny Arsenal, you must also present a valid vehicle registration and proof of vehicle insurance. All vehicles entering Picatinny will be subject to search for weapons, ammunition, drugs, alcoholic beverages, photographic equipment, and recording devices. These items will be confiscated and violators will be cited by the Picatinny Police. Industry partners are encouraged to continue monitoring the Federal Business Opportunities for any potential updates.
