- DEMOLISH EXISTING ADMINISTRATION BUILDING, RENOVATE EXISTING LODGE BUILDING AND SITE IMPROVEMENTS | NASHVILLE NATIONAL CEMETERY | PROJECT NUMBER 865CM3029 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting proposals under Solicitation Number VA786A-16-B-0006 for the following: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, as required by drawings and specifications. The project consists of seven tasks: 1.Demolition of the existing Administration Building. 2.Rehabilitation and renovation of the existing Lodge Building with a new Kiosk (burial locator) and add a new Toilet/Restrooms Building. 3.Upgrade of the utility systems for the existing Maintenance Building. 4.Renovation of the existing Rostrum Building. 5.Remove and replacement of the existing Committal Shelter. 6.Provide a new 700 niche Columbarium. 7.Upgrade the site furnishings for the entire cemetery. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION Between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000 CONTRACT DURATION Performance period for this requirement is approximately Three Hundred Sixty Five (365) Calendar Days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. METHOD OF AWARD THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-RICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER 100% COMPETITVE SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB). Award will be made in accordance with 14.1 - Use of Sealed Bidding to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price-related factors included in the invitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS Details of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and drawings will be released for issue on or about November 10, 2015. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to www.fedbizopps.gov. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers.
