Description
This solicitation if being done as a firm, fixed price with LPTA, Lowest price technically acceptable. This requirement is for the fabricator to manufacture two (2) Particle Separators for AEDC Tunnel 9 per drawings. The fabricator shall supply a written material certification for the material used to fabricate the particle separators which shall include chemical composition, yield strength, tensile strength and percent elongation. The fabricator shall supply a written 100% inspection report for each part. The fabricator shall supply a certificate of compliance. The period of performance shall be 90 calendar days after the contractor receives notice of award to fabricate and deliver the particle separators. The Mach 10 Particle Separators (both drawings and fabricated parts) are export controlled, thus the fabricator must be registered in the DLA Logistics Information Services Joint Certification Program (DLIS Certified). The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Militarily Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a legitimate business purpose may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. The solicitation package will be mailed to the data custodian identified in Block 3 of the DD Form 2345. To obtain certification, contact: Commander, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS), ATTN: U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office, 74 Washington Avenue North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 or call the DLIS at (800)-352-3572. The DLIS United States/Canada Joint Certification Lookup service is available via the Internet at: www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/default.asp. The DD2345 may be faxed to 931-454-7330 or email your certification number to richard.schueren@us.af.mil. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to AEDC/WHITE OAK, Silver Springs, MD 20903.
