- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions, extend the questioning period and close date for this solicitation. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. A. The questioning period has been extended from 2pm CST, Thursday, November 05, 2015 to 4pm CST, Monday, November 9, 2015. B. The solicitation close date has changed from 8am CST, Monday, November 9, 2015 to 8am CST, Monday, November 16, 2015. C. Questions and Answers: 1.How many calls are received a day, a month? Answer: This is hard to determine. Calls are sporadic. On average a call time range: 5 minutes to an hour. On average calls received range from: 3 to 5 a week. However, calls fluctuate based on patient flow. High volume calls are related to the connection from the ISP goes down and all users lose connection to the Internet. 2.Will the vendor have remote access to the wireless system and components? Answer: Yes, through approved process that is written in the MOU between VAMC Memphis, OI&T, and Vendor. 3.Who is the current ISP and what are the current contract terms (contracted bandwidth and duration of contract)? Answer: 20MB burstable to 50MB Bandwidth is required. Level 3 Communications is the ISP 4.Describe the level of support that is expected to be delivered (i.e. how far into the configuration of the user's device does the support person go in an effort to connect them to the wireless network?) Answer: The contractor shall provide full support to the user, assist the user to troubleshoot the equipment, remotely login into their system, and change the configuration of their phones or walking them through identifying issues. The contractor shall not engage in any activity that could void the warranty of the device or physically damage the device. The contractor shall provide guidance or advice to assist the user. 5.Are there currently any manufacturer warranties or support contracts in effect for the listed equipment? Answer: Currently, no warranties or support contracts are in place.
