Description
COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS UNINTERRUPTABLE POWER SUPPLY BATTERY & CAPACITOR REPLACEMENT SERVICES MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII 1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 2) The Solicitation number is M00318-16-T-0001 and is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) using the simplified procedures for acquisition of commercial items per FAR 13.5. 3) This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory commercial item provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-82 Effective, 2 July 2015 and DPN effective 26 June 2015. 4) This is a a 100% small business set aside with an associated North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) code of 335911, Storage Battery Manufacturing. The size standard is 500 Employees. 5) The Government contemplates the single award Purchase Order for the purchase, installation, and removal of replacement batteries and capacitors for two (2) Liebert 600T 225 kVa Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units. See attached documents for specific line items required. 6) This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is the purchase, installation, and removal of replacement batteries and capacitors for two (2) Liebert 600T 225 kVa Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) units. Work shall be in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). 7) The work shall be completed 15 days after contract award. The period of performance will run for 12 months. See the attached PWS for specific deliverables. The places of performance is Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Building 208, G-6, Kaneohe Bay, HI. All required deliverables shall be submitted in accordance with the PWS. 8) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The attached addendum applies to this requirement. 9) Evaluation - Commercial Items 52.212-2 (Tailored) applies to this solicitation. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable Offer. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical (Delivery/Installation Plan, Component Compatibility with Current System) and Price. Only quotes which meet the mandatory technical criteria will be considered for award. See the attached addendum for further details. 10) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. 11) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. 12) The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
