Description
Description: This synopsis is being posted to Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov. It is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet. This amendment PO N00178-16-P-0001, answers questions received during the on-site visit. Offerors are reminded that proposals will only be accepted from those who participated in an onsite visit. The following are questions and answers that came up during the site visit held on 29 October 2015. Q1. What video sources do they have or need onsite? A1. There are video sources (resources) currently installed. Requirement will operate on a closed network, to maximize the competition. Q2. What video monitors do they have or need onsite? A2. The requirement is for a closed loop system which will not tie into existing systems or monitors. See Q6 for requirement spec. Q3. What is the intercom for? Do they want the intercom in the wall or on a desk? A3. The intercom will be used to talk back and forth. This requirement is for safety purposes. The microphones/speakers in the gun rooms will need to be mounted to the walls. The microphones/speakers on the operator stations will be mounted to the operator stations. Q4. Does the equipment need to come with any type of warranty? What should the response time be? A4. Yes, the system shall come with a 1 year warranty. The service plan should include a response time of no less than 5 business days from time of call for someone to service the system. Q5. Does a drawing need to be submitted with the technical proposal? A5. Yes, the technical proposal shall include a drawing showing placement of the equipment. Q6. What size should the Monitors be for this requirement? A6. The monitors should be 18' - 20". Q7. Do the two (2) gun rooms require conduit? A7. Yes, we require conduit in the two gun rooms. Q8. How many operator stations does this requirement need? A8. There is a change to the quantity of operator stations. There will be two required in gun room #2 (Rm 113), and two required in the center room (Rm 111). This is a change from the three (3) operator stations in the middle room.
