- This action is not for a contract award. DLA Aviation has a recurring need to acquire a variety of consumables and depot level repairables in support of DOD customers world-wide supporting the LM2500 engine. DLA manages over 2,000 NIINs coded to the LM2500. These items are currently supported through tactical buys against a General Electric (GE) Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) as well as a GE sole Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity long term contract (LTC). The LTC was issued by DLA Aviation and supports 226 National Stock Numbers (NSN). The BOA, used by DOD, US Coast Guard and Department of Homeland Security, was established by DLA Aviation Oklahoma City in Sep 2012 and expires in Sep 2017. DLA Aviation intends to utilize the BOA to issue sole source orders to GE, CAGE 07482, for LM2500 parts at established GE commercial catalog prices. The initial ordering period will be February 2016 through October 31, 2016. Thereafter, the ordering period(s) will be approximately 12 months in length and will coincide with annual publication of GE's commercial catalog and the terms established in the BOA. The total population of sole source GE parts included in this action is 287 National Stock Numbers (NSN) with an estimated annual demand value of $1.4 million. Approximately 109 NSNs with an estimated annual demand value of $29,087 are expected to have requirements during the first year. Items identified for the initial and subsequent ordering periods are sole source to GE, CAGE 07482, and offered for sale in GE's LM2500 commercial catalog. All prices in the GE commercial catalog will be reviewed on an annual basis. The items included in this action have been identified as sole source however some items may have history showing awards to other than the OEM. Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM are required by 19 Nov 2015 and should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the period identified.
