The service has never been rendered and no previous contract for this service has been awarded. 4) Can you clarify what we will be spraying? Spraying for weeds. 5) Are you requesting a weed killer applied once only per season or spraying once a year for pests (ants)? Should be once a year for a general weed spraying in February to include pre-emergent treatment and then as needed for post emergent weeds. Insecticide should be applied quarterly (October, January, April, July) around the perimeter of the building. Using Google Maps I have calculated that the entire property is approximately 1.86 acres, if you take out the parking lot, there is approximately 1.21 acres of lawn and building. Please note that these figures are calculated using Google Maps. 10) I would like to know the total acres that will be serviced by my company if we get this contract. Using Google Maps I have calculated that the entire property is approximately 1.86 acres, if you take out the parking lot, there is approximately 1.21 acres of lawn and building. Taking out the building leaves about 0.9 acres of lawn and flower beds that will require attention. Please note that these figures are calculated using Google Maps. 11) It appears that there is a vacant lot attached to this property. Is it included in the lawn maintenance or is just the area surrounding the building and parking lot? The vacant lot is not our property and is not included. 12) Will there be a site visit or can you provide a site map that is to scale, showing the detail of all of the areas that is to service in terms of acreage or square footage? Google map link for the MB CBOC: https://www.google.com/maps/place/3381+Phillis+Blvd,+Myrtle+Beach,+SC+29577/@33.6716066,-8.9363389,194m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x89006a1bdbeef365:0x11ef9384c8abba7d!6m1!1e1 13) According to the scope of work and the pricing sheet, there is only one job that is required for pruning services that is to be completed per contract year. But in the service description for mowing, it requires the "trimming of bushes" to be performed on a more frequent basis. What is the government's expectation for these required services listed in the scope of work? Pruning service is for the Palm Trees. Bushes should be trimmed as needed on a regular basis. 14) How many services are expected during the months of October - February? There are no mowing services to be performed during this time only basic weeding, trimming of bushes, cleaning out flower beds, removing and replacing any dead plants and flowers; edging sidewalks, cleaning and clearing parking lot of debris as needed.
