Statement of Work On-Site Preventive Maintenance of Sterrad NX Sterilizers 1. EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: Unit STERRAD NX Serial Number 33090295 Murfreesboro Campus Unit STERRAD NX Serial Number 33090293 Nashville Campus Unit STERRAD(R) 100NX(TM) 1-DR Serial Number 1041120448 Nashville Campus 2. On-Site service to perform corrective maintenance and semi-annual preventive maintenance (PM1 and PM2) on the Sterrad NX sterilizers to include all parts, labor and travel. The PM2 service includes all work required during the PM1 service and additional items included only in the PM2, as follows: Preventive Maintenance 1 (PM1): a.Change vacuum pump oil b.Replace the exhaust filter c.Clean the vaporizer bowl d.Drain water from the air storage tank e.Drain pressure regulator moisture trap f.Clean air filters/panel assemblies g.Inspect/Clean electrode (replace after 2 years) h.Inspect/Clean door, inside chamber i.Product verification j.Update PM log and reset PM interval Preventive Maintenance 2 (PM2): a.Perform Baratron Zero Shift test b.Replace H2O2 lamp c.Replace catalytic converter d.Clean platen surface e.Inspect/Replace door seal o-ring f.Replace shelves, stops, rails, and electrode spacers 3. Vendor to provide a written service report to include travel time, labor time and detail parts used with part# and description. Service report must be signed by an authorized VA employee from SPS or Biomedical Engineering. 4. Vendor to contact Biomedical Engineering to schedule repair, when he/she arrives at the VA to commence work and upon completion of work to demonstrate the unit is operational prior to departure from the VA.
