Description

PETS URD PETS RFI Instructions The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to seek information on current/existing GPS based tracking systems to replace aging GP based Personnel and Equipment Tracking System (PETS) on the Precision Impact Range Area (PIRA) at Edwards AFB, CA. The new PETS should utilize the existing infrastructure of repeater and receiver sites. S ee attachments for more information. THIS IS A RFI ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR PART 15.201. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS RFI. RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE IS NOT AN OFFER AND CONNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFI; SOURCES ARE ADVISED THAT PARTICIPATION IN PROVIDING INFORMATION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE PARTICIPATION IN FUTURE SOLICITATIONS OR AWARDS. THE PURPOSE OF THIS RFI IS TO CONDUCT RESEARCH INTO POTENTIALLY QUALIFIED SOURCES AND THEIR SIZE CLASSIFICATIONS. BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESSES ARE ENCOURAGED TO RESPOND. A SOLICITATION DOES NOT EXIST AT THIS TIME.
