Description

The Ann Arbor VA Hospital, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan, intends to issue a solicitation requesting offers to provide all personnel and equipment necessary to conduct Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and mock code training classes for annual certification per the American Heart Association standards. Classes are to be held at the main Ann Arbor facility and satellite facilities. Classes shall be completed entirely in a classroom environment with no online component. Contract period will be one year from date of award (approximately November 14, 2015) with one (1) one year pre-priced option period to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total contract duration will not exceed 2 years. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on www.fbo.gov on or about November 3, 2015. No hard copy solicitation will be provided. Solicitation documents may be downloaded electronically at www.fbo.gov. Solicitation responses will be due on or about November 11, 2015. It is the intent of the VA to solicit offers and award one contract on a competitive basis. This procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 in conjunction with procedures of FAR Part 13. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 611710. The size standard for this NAICS code is $14 million dollars in average annual receipts.
