Description

CONTRACT AWARD: The Department of Veterans Affairs Wilmington VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkland Highway, Wilmington, DE 19805, awarded a contract for boiler water and cooling system treatment services at the Wilmington VA Medical Center to Water Treatment Services Inc. on 9/28/2015.This contract is for technical services and supply all water treatment chemicals necessary to control corrosion, scale, bacteria, algae and microbiological issues throughout two (2) 500 ton Trane Centrifugal water cooled chillers and cooling tower. Also, includes technical services and supply all water treatment chemicals necessary to control corrosion and scale throughout three (3) steam boilers at 20,000 pounds per hour,(1) Fire tube Boiler at 10,000 pounds per hour, condensate and water softener systems at the Central Steam Plant. The period of performance is for 1 (one) year plus 4 (four) option years. The award amount for the base year is $19,296.00. The total value of the contract for the base year and four (4) option years is $96,480.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this contract is 561210 with a small business size standard of $38.5M.
