Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC) is seeking a General Subcontractor to collaborate with SLAC on the Sector 0-10 Recycling & Waste Disposal project to prepare a total of four (4) sites for recycling & waste disposal processing and storage. Three (3) separate sites totaling 1.6 acres require grading, paving, security fencing and electrical power for security cameras. The 4th site requires the design & construction of a 5,000 Sq. Ft. Fabric Structure. This is not a soliciation or Request for Proposal and any proposal provided as a result of this notice will be discarded upon receipt. Interested suppliers shall register thru the Interested Vendor portal in this notice Scope of Work Site work includes the following 3-sites: Area 1. Site work includes clearing and grubbing of 36,400 Sq. Ft. of undeveloped site, grading, installation of 6-inch Class II Base Rock, and 2-in. Asphalt pave of 14,000 Sq. Ft. The scope of work also includes installation of a 6 ft. chain link security fence with 2- 12 ft. wide access gates. In addition the site requires 120v underground electrical power and CAT 6 electronic cabling for the future security cameras (OFOI). Electrical power and electronic cabling point of connection is available approximately 500 ft. southwest of the site. Area 2. Site work includes grading of 11,700 Sq. Ft. of existing storage site, installation of 6-inch Class II Base Rock. The scope of work also includes installation of a 6 ft. chain link security fence with 2- 12 ft. wide access gates. In addition the site requires 120v underground electrical power and CAT 6 electronic cabling for the future security cameras (OFOI). Electrical power and electronic cabling point of connection is available approximately 350 ft. northeast of the site. Area 3. Site work includes grading of 21,600 Sq. Ft. of existing storage site, removal of 371 cubic yards of concrete blocks, total of 180 blocks, and 125 tons of iron blocks, total of 4 blocks, weighing between 25 & 35 tons each, installation of 6-inch Class II Base Rock. The scope of work also includes installation of a 6 ft. chain link security fence with 2- 12 ft. wide access gates. In addition the site requires 120v underground electrical power and CAT 6 electronic cabling for the future security cameras (OFOI). Electrical power and electronic cabling point of connection is available approximately 400 ft. southeast of the site. Fabric Structure work includes: Area 4. Scope of work includes design and construction of 5,000 Sq. Ft. (50 ft. x 100 ft.) Fabric Structure with 50 ft. span, 32 ft. high pre-engineered truss structure with 14 ft. x 14 ft. steel roll up doors and 4 ft. x 7 ft. steel access doors at the north and south end walls (total of 4-doors). Fabric Structure shall also include fire retardant fabric; drilled helical anchors foundation system and 20-year fabric warranty. Site work includes installation of 6 in. asphalt curb at perimeter of fabric structure to divert surface rainwater runoff, and asphalt vehicle access ramps at each roll-up door. Schedule: Work to be completed within 75 calendar days beginning in January 2016.
