- This is a Notice of Intent to issue a sole source purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for disposal of demo debris, plant trash, special waste and railroad ties from the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Allied Waste is the only landfill withing a 100 mile radius of the McAlester Army Ammuntion Plant. Any purchase order that will be awarded under other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
