- Description
- NOTE: The U.S. Government does not own the data rights for these systems. The data rights are currently owned by Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training (LMMST). It is anticipated that no other contractor will be able to perform these services IAW FAR 6.302-1. In an effort to promote competition the USG is seeking, through this RFI, alternate sources that can perform these engineering tasks. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The USG will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. Background: The Precision Attack Technical Coordination Program (TCP) provides ongoing support equipment sustainment and repair including related documentation plus software support for the seven member nations that operate various configurations of LANTIRN and Sniper pods. The TCP furnishes legacy LANTIRN test equipment parts repair for these client countries under various repairable item procurements. The newer advanced configurations require even more specialized support that is not totally available through USAF depot repair channels. Targeting and Navigating Pods currently supported by the Precision Attack (TCP) include the Navigation Pod, AN/AAQ-13; Target Pod, AN/AAQ-14; Sharpshooter, AN/AAQ-14(V1); and Pathfinder, AN/AAQ-20 that make-up the Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night (LANTIRN) systems. The TCP charter, also, permits support of new state-of-the-art targeting pod concepts such as the Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), AN/AAQ-33. The TCP's prime responsibility is to ensure the availability of a comprehensive sustainment source. TCP Member Countries: Saudi Arabia SR-D-GAG/031 Bahrain BA-D-GAJ/008 Greece GR-D-QCE/067 Taiwan TW-D-GCI/002 Turkey TK-D-GBQ/002 Israel IS-D-GCQ/002 Egypt EG-D-QAX/058 Under the contemplated effort, The contractor shall provide the following engineering support services for sustainment of TCP member countries' Precision Attack Pods Support Equipment (SE): -Provide complex test equipment related action item resolution requiring OEM assistance Provide contractor test equipment familiarization and technical demonstrations (primarily at customer facilities) -Provide technical studies for customers as they require such assistance -Ensures a support vehicle is available for a member country requesting an engineering change proposal (ECP) for support equipment -Provide recommended solutions for customer test equipment hardware and software issues -Provide test equipment and related technical order support (within releasability guidelines) -Provide TCP/contractor travel for test equipment action item resolution and meeting support, as needed -Provide other assistance for test equipment issues as they relate to customer concerns -Provide test equipment related technical order support (within releasability guidelines)
