Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 7 (NCO-7), Birmingham VA Medical Center intends to negotiate sole source procurement in accordance with FAR Part 12 with Biosense Webster, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Biosense Webster Electrophysiology products contain intellectual property owned solely by Biosense Webster. Carto ® 3 proprietary products cannot be produced or recreated through any other source. The NACIS code is 339112 with a size standard of 500 employees. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting documentation with cost and detailing their experience in providing these products, to the Contract Specialist via email at Jessica.coleman-smith@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses to this notice must be received by 5:00PM EST, September 21, 2015. Contractors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award. Information on SAM is available at www.sam.gov.
