- This contract is for licensed architectural, multi-disciplined engineering (A-E) services as described below and will be procured in accordance with the Brooks Act as implemented by FAR Subpart 36.6. It is being solicited as a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Architectural Design and Engineering services are required for one (1) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The projects will primarily be located in Eastern North Carolina within MCI EAST ™s Area of Responsibility (AOR), including Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, MCAS Cherry Point, Beaufort, and surrounding areas. Some work could be located in other areas within the MCI EAST ™s AOR including MCAS Beaufort and MCRD Parris Island, SC and MLB Albany, GA, as well as, NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic ™s and NAVFAC Atlantic ™s AORs, including Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia, as well as the NAVFAC Atlantic AOR including the continental United States, Caribbean, Central and South America, Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia. PROJECT INFORMATION (1) Projects may involve single or multiple disciplines. The work associated with each project may include, but is not limited to, the design of new construction housing and community facilities, or total renovation of the interior and exterior of existing housing and community facilities, including the evaluation, repair, and replacement of the structural, plumbing, mechanical, fire protection, electrical, and communication systems of such facilities. Projects may include: bachelor officer quarters, bachelor enlisting quarters, emergency troop housing, expeditionary training quarters, temporary lodging facilities, dining (mess) and other food services buildings, officer and enlisted clubs, commissaries, public safety facilities (such as fire stations, police stations, and other facilities and structures related to installation security), dependent school facilities, religious ministry facilities, post offices, libraries, rehabilitation centers, family service centers, child development centers, banks, location exchanges and other exchange retail stores, thrift shops, hobby shops, indoor/outdoor recreational facilities (to include bowling alleys, theatres, golf courses, stables, skeet ranges, non-tactical training pools, marinas, gas/service stations and personal automotive repair facilities, ready issue shops and storage, and similar type facilities.
