- Description
- This RFI is for the ordering system only. The USAF desires an enterprise solution for centrally funding and managing all vehicle parts procurement. The Vehicle Equipment Management Support Office (VEMSO) intends to move toward a single Commercial-of-the Shelf (COTS) internet-based parts management system for all locations. The system must enable ordering of parts, invoicing, and access from multiple locations. In addition, it must be able to share data with the OLVIMS or another current government management system through data import/export capability in Microsoft Excel format. The system must also have an interface capable of coordinating parts orders with contractor approved local vendors. Vehicle Maintenance locations must maintain the ability to pick up parts locally for immediate, mission critical needs. Please see RFI for further detail and draft requirements. This is the full solution. The USAF desires an enterprise solution for centrally funding and managing all vehicle parts procurement. The parts must be available and supplied for the entire USAF vehicle fleet within CONUS and OCONUS AORs. Parts for all vehicles must be available for delivery or pickup at all current locations, as well as additional AORs that may emerge due to conflicts. The intent is to move toward a single Commercial-of-the Shelf (COTS) internet-based parts management system for all locations. The system must enable ordering of parts, invoicing, and access from multiple locations. In addition, it must be able to share data with the OLVIMS or another current government management system through data import/export capability in Microsoft Excel format. Please see the RFI for the full draft requirement.
