Description
RFQ AG-32SD-S-15-SR15 The USDA Agricultural Research Service Northern Great Plains Research Lab in Mandan, North Dakota is in need of one soil sampler per the specifications below. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside, only registered small businesses may submit a quote at this time. All vendors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Please provide your company's DUNS # with your quote. Soil Sampler Specifications: • The sampler should be mountable on the bed of a Utility Vehicle (i.e. 6 wheeler) • The sampler should be a hydraulically-driven probe with >4,000 lbs down force and >2,500 lbs pull force. • The sampler should possess an engine with a capacity >20 HP. • The engine should have a starter and alternator (i.e., starts with the turn of a key). • The engine should have a 6 gallon gas tank and a 10 gallon oil reservoir. • The sampler should have a minimum stroke mast of 42", and the mast should swing laterally to allow for collection of multiple cores at a single location. • The stroke mast should recline forward into the bed of the UTV during transport between sampling locations. • The sampler should possess a rotary head, thereby allowing for the potential use of an auger. • The sampler should possess a hydraulic rotary tube cleaning brush. • The sampler should possess a 4-way leveling system. • The sampler should weight no more than 1,000 lbs. • Installation of sampler onto the bed of a Utility Vehicle should be included in the quote. • The sampler must be installed and ready for use. • Once the sampler is ready for pick up a brief training session should follow on the use of the machine. *Note that installation by be included; Research Location will haul the UTV there and back for install.
