- Asbestos Containing Material and Lead-Based Paint Survey Section 12 32 00 Manufactured Wood Casework Section 10 44 16 Fire Extinguishers Section 10 26 13 Wall and Corner Guards Contractor RFI and Government Responses Solicitation Amendment #2 - Summary of Changes FA4877-15-B-0002-0002 NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE MADE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 355th Contracting Squadron will solicit a Firm Fixed Price contract at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, AZ. The applicable NAICS code is 236220. The work to be performed consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary to complete the following project at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in accordance with the proposed specifications and drawings (see attachments): FBNV 10-0025 Repair (Sustain) Weapons Standardization IAW DFARS 236.204, the project magnitude for this contract is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00 For this contract a contractor will receive an award based on Section L & M in the solicitation. Using this evaluation, award will be issued based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures outlined in Section M of the solicitation to include Technical Acceptability and Price. The successful contractor will be selected using LPTA, resulting in the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Section L & M of the solicitation. The performance period for this project is 324 days. The anticipated Liquidated Damages for this project have been calculated at $261.92 for the first day and $191.35 for each day thereafter. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. AS A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS REQUIRED: THIS PROCUREMNT IS SET ASIDE FOR TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS Interested small business firms will be required to show evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project as outlined in the solicitation. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to visit the website frequently for any updates and/or amendments to all documents. All prospective contractors must be actively registered in the System of Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for an award. SITE VISIT INFORMATION: Site Visit will be conducted on 31 August 2015 at 0900 hours local time (Arizona). Interested contractors should review the entire solicitation and FAR provision 52.236-27 of the solicitation completely for site visit response instructions. REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION: Following the site visit, all Requests for Information (RFIs) should be submitted, in writing, to the contracting specialist no later than 7 September 2015 at 1600 hours local time (Arizona). NOTE: The RFI due date is on a federal holiday, Labor Day. For the interested offeror's convenience, RFIs can be submitted any time before this date. BID DUE DATE/BID OPENING: The bid due AND bid opening will on 23 September at 1000 hours local time (Arizona). The bid opening will be conducted in the 355th Contracting Squadron Conference Room at the address below. Sealed Bid Instructions (See Section L).
